Today the winners of the Bardic and Artisnal contest for Achaea.com were announced.
Under the name of Vesence I submitted The Gnoll's Tail and today I found out I won Merit. Yeah it's not top prize but I have to take some pride in what I've done.
Unfortunately, poetry tends to place higher more often, as do works that simply splash around a lot of Achaean words, even if the works themselves are only mediocre. Them's the knocks, I guess.
I think you should have at least gotten runner up, but merit is better than nothing.
